If he is truly a good person and you believe that it will get you somewhere in life, then I would go back out with him. You have to really think about if he really wants forgiveness for dating another girl, though.

Well it's human nature to lean towards someone else so promising eachother not to be with another is really difficult to keep. But you need to ask him how he feels about you cause now that he's with someone else he might realize that the person he wants to be with is you. On the other hand he could say it's over for good. Also if you had to break up for me time you need to think that if you really wanted to stay with him that you wouldn't have needed me time. I hope this helps.

It sounds like the first thing you need to do is make up your mind, do you want him or not? if you want him, tell him that he hurt you, if not, tell him to go beck to that other girl. it will never be the same again. even after your "alone time", you would realize that you did not love him enough to stay with him for much over a year, it probably would have falle apart anyways, but, first make up your mind, do you want him, or not?

You are not being realistic here.you are making this relationship be guided by what you want and never about what he also want.you are the one who left him and even though you made an unrealistic promise to each other that he broke,it doesn't really change how he feels about you if he still wants you back.
