I'm currently with someone, and as you can guess I'm still in high school. It was very clear from the start of the "relationship" that I didn't want any "L-bombs" dropped and I'm not the kind of girl to be all up on him. However, I don't see him often, and lately, since wrestling has started [[I'm my school's team manager]] I've had even less time. Not only that, I feel so tied down. I'm naturally a VERY flirty person, and he knows that. I thought that I would give the boyfriend girlfriend thing a try, but I'm just not really sure anymore. I feel like it needs to end, but I would feel really bad about doing so, and not just that I feel like I haven't given it enough time to actaully work. I'm not asking for your advice on whether I should call it quits or not, but I want to know how you would go about this if you were in the middle of something like this.

I'd take a break. If you feel tied down then you shouldn't be in a relationship. Tell him you need some time apart until things simmer down. Relationships shouldn't feel confining.

Just be honest. You two can be friends. Since you haven't been together long just say "I am so busy and it is unfair for you to be left on the back burner, so let's both just be friends" other than that all you can do is be honest w/the guy.

Be honest. Tell him exactly how you feel. He will respect you more if you're honest than if you try to spare feelings with half truths or whatever. Just tell him the truth
