It is correct to say, though maybe not so appropriate. So many people believe that it is borderline being mean to say that they believe in a fictional character. Only through education and logical reasoning can we erradicate religion.

Our modern world has a mythological base.
The days of the week, months of the year, seasons, the names of our planets, the stars, our names..all mythological.
Try as you may, you can't escape our mythological past. Humanity has always lived with religion, myth and everything else.
Life is Mythological.

No. Religions aren't all based on myth. Greek & Roman mythology had a religious theme though.
Myth is similar to apocryphal. Myths are spiritually inspired as are Apocryphal writing. But the spiritual inspiration isn't from God the Creator (or the Lord God).
Since I believe the Holy Bible is inspired by the LORD God, I believe it is 100% Truth and no myth.

the main point of a religion is to provide its followers with a successful moral code that will ensure long lives and happiness in existence. They usually seek to accomplish this with a series of stories or illustrations.
most myths, as you call them, have a moralistic point.
unfortunately, many people have gotten the entire idea *ss backwards and are systematically destroying all credibility for any religion.
kinda sucks an amoralistic society will fall.

I think most religions are mythology, but some are just downright lies - like Scientolgy, for example. Mr. Hubbard made a bet with a sci-fi buddy of his that he could create a new religion - then went and wrote Dianetics.

Totally. All religions are sprung from the stories of a culture, regardless of how many people know or believe them.

Things stated in the book called the bible, has been clearly a book of facts. So far, the bible has not leaded me wrong. Personally I don't believe in religion, religion is just another way to seperate people. I do, however, believe in spirtuality and faith. Rather you believe in God or Jesus, and whose these people are, most people do believe in a higher being. I find it funny that people who usually don't believe in God or Jesus, when they get into trouble or a life threatening situation, the first thing out of their mouth is "Oh My God" or "lord help me"

Yes - to a gathering of intelligent peoples who come to discuss mythologies. No to a group of fundies who come to worship. Depends on your audience I guess...
