Shout seems to work best for me -- the kind in the spray bottle. I'm sure you already know this, but it's best if you can get to the stain while it's fresh -- I end up peeling the clothes off my kids all the time to get Shout on whatever they just got on their clothes. However, since my kids go to day care, I don't always have that option, and they often (about every day) come home with dried on stains, and Shout still works.

For a greasy stain, I just put some dishwashing liquid soap on it. It's designed to break up grease on your dishes, so a dab of it works wonders on clothes as well without sudsing up your whole wash.

There is a product by Quixtar that gets anything and everything out. It is well worth the money and a bottle lasts me for about a year. It's pretty concentrated. It's called pre-wash and there are two different formulas. One gets out grease, ink, and oil, the other dirt, food, and grass. I use both. The spray formula actually gets out grease spots on clothes that have been dried over and over. Amazing! You can order through quixtar on line, although I'm not sure of the website address, it shouldn't be that hard to find. My son is three and I'm into Gymboree clothing, not something I would throw away and re buy if you know what I mean. I sell his clothing when he out grows it so I can buy new. The clothes look awesome and I've always been able to sell them for top dollar.

All of the above, but I've had a fair amount of success using peroxide, the same stuff you use on cuts. It's cheap and almost everyone has some in the house. Just leave it on until it stops fizzing and through it in the wash. If nothing else works, well, there's always scissors LOL or a strategically placed patch of a cute critter!

i use the dreft spray you can find it in the baby section of the store or with all the laundry soaps, just spray some of that on the stain, let it sit a while, then wash it in the washing machine, and it should take it right out depending on how bad the stain is... or u can use some of the dreft laundry detergent and put it on the stain... it works for me

the only thing i have found that works miracles is spray n wash. also don't wash the clothes in warm or hot water because it will set the stain in to to clothing and then nothing will get it out.

This sounds really weird... but I use Orange Clean...
Its for normal house cleaning but works great on the clothes, even the ones with grease stains.

I use SHOUT rub on cream (kind of like a pencil) and then the spray on top of it. Then I let it sit for days! If it still doesn't come out, then I do it again.
A bleach pen always works on whites well too.

Happy Cleaning!
