can a war be claimed under religion?surely all religion teaches not to harm one another?!

Hmmmmmmmm
The US war in the Middle East is largely due to greed, arrogance, and oil. Only indirectly due to religion.
But the planet's history is rife with religious war.
Just one more reason to say, "No, thanks. I'll take reality instead."

The biggest example of religious war is during the protestant reformation. So many denominations of Christianity were intolerant of each other and killed each other. Also the crusades were fought in the name of God. And also another example is in the middle east were extremist are fighting for Allah. So yeah, there is such a thing as religious wars.

Of course there are religious wars. All the fighting in the middle east has everything to do with religion.

Yes, they are called the Crusades. There were three of them and many nobles of Europe when in the name of god, with the Popes blessing.

THE CRUSADES WERE A RELIGIOUS WAR AS WAS THE SPANISH INQUISITION. EARLY CHRISTIAN (I THINK EVEN MOERN ONES) FELT THAT IT WAS THEIR DUTY TO CONVERT "HEATHENS".
