Why is it that all the perverted, egotistic, selfish guys email me in yahoo answers, and not the nice, decent guys who I like?? Recently I got messages from a guy who has been chatting with me for some time because he's looking for a WIFE (potentially me) and he was always giving me hints at that, and the disgusting part is that he's 30 and I'm 18! Can you believe it! I've talked to some other guys and some of them seem nice but, most of them are old except for one, and he seems to be a very decent guy, but that's only one guy compared to all the 100 perverts! Why is that I can't seem to connect to nice guys but seem to lure the bad ones!!?? Why is that nice guys never take me seriously even though I'm serious, (well, most of the time)?

Honey, you are only 18, no need to worry about boys now!! Go out have fun, live your life, then ruin it by getting into a serious relationship!! Take it from me... I settled down early and it's not good, i wish I could go back and waited! I am only 22 now (I should still be out just having fun)! I'm not saying don't have your "fun" with boys, just nothing serious!! ;)

honey, because all the nice good interesting guys are out experiencing life. I dont really think you will find what you are looking for on the internet. It would be nice to think that we could do a search engine for Mr. Right and pick the ones we like out of that bunch but it doesnt always happen that way.
GOOD LUCK THOUGH. anything is possible. But be careful. You are way too young to resort to online dating at such a young age. I've tried it and i am only 21. Granted i have meet a few potentials but nothing serious. You really need to mingle with your peers.

dont be in a hurry to find a guy. Online is not the best place to find one. I learned that the hardway. Im 39 and still looking for a decent man.
Pervs love the internet and even the ones who seem normal may be prevs
try to meet more people off the internet, voluteer, look at church, at work, etc. but dont rush.
ive met plenty of pervs in person too.

This is definitely my opinion but I think meeting guys on the Internet is kind of dangerous and weird anyway I would think you would want to meet guys at school or work or church someplace besides a the computer. There is usually a reason you can only find creeps on here. They dont have to be humiliated and can say whatever they want. Plus alot lie about their age and everything else so my suggestion is to look somewhere else.

Well, for one, its very dangerous to be meeting people from the internet. 2nd, Sometimes good girls give guys the wrong impression about them because of the types of conversations they entertain and or the way they act and the way they dress. If you dress slutty do not expect a serious and nice guy to want to have anything to do with you. Only those perverts who only have one thing on their mind will be attracted to you.

I'm 29, and it's probably because some guys want to re-capture their youth by going after you being 18. Or, it may be that it does seem like only yesterday when they were 18, and they don't realize how far apart in ages you really are.

I think because the reason is there's a lot of freaks out there.... This guy is one of them. He could also feel a connection with you because of the internet that he may not feel if you were to meet face to face. The difference between 30 and 18 is HUGE!!!!
Nice guys are out there....you just have to find them!
Sadly...you're going to find a lot of jackasses before you find the one you're going to love....it's not fair...but then...neither is life.

Nice, decent guys don't generaly e-mail strange girls they don't know(I for one never have). Only creeps do that. Most nice guys get burnned so much that they don't think any girl is serious.

If the 30 yr old is not for you then tell him...unless he knows you dont like him like that then he wont stop...
Sounds to me like flirting gone bad...if you dont want to attract the wrong sort then tell them right out what you are looking for and if they still bother you then block them on your messenger/email...it doesnt take much one click and they wont bother you again.
