They put spices in them to make them taste flavorful. They also put in lots of delicious fats like butter to improve the flavors.
They also advertise a lot and put little toys in the kids meals.
With all that going for them they do not need to dose food with chemicals. They have you from the instant you step through their door.

Absolutely! There are several chemical companies in New Jersey that specialize in the development of flavors and chemicals to enhance the smell and taste of food products. When you see "Natural Flavors" in the ingredients listed on a product, you can be certain that there are many chemicals present in the respective food product. You have to write to the respective food manufacturer to get the information about Natural Flavors. But be certain that chemicals are present in the food product.
Check out the book that is a companion to the movie. Also check out Fast Food Nation.

It's called preservatives.....Found in most processed foods these days to make them last longer. So yes there are chemicals in nearly all processed foods and that includes the meat patty, tomato ketchup, cheese, bread and only thing there would not be is the onion (if it is fresh) otherwise your looking at a preservative filled food. Of course if your body has these things in it due to high consuming of these products your body is going to crave it hence wanting to eat more of it. So yeah everything you eat unless its fresh has this stuff in it. Its called the food industry!

No..
Although if you eat a lot of it, the body may start to create a craving for it. And that would be true with ANY food, not just fast food.

A lot of those foods have high amounts of starch witch your body breaks down & converts to insulin the same as sugar witch is proven to reak havok on your body .Insulin also sends a calming signal to the brain,witch can also be euphoric,this is why you become addicted to this food.It's the chemical reactions that go on in your body after you ingest the food.The other down side to the food is the saturated fat,mixed with the high insulin.You see insulin might make your brain feel good while it is up,but it is also known as the fat storage hormone,so all the saturated fat you ate goes straight to your belly ,& excess fat causes a whole host of problems ranging from mental to heart disease& I havent even got to the sodium part of that food yet.Sodium in excess also has chemical reaction to the brain ,addiction wise simular to starch.The down side of excess sodium is high blood pressure.The saturated fat witch raises cholesterol mixed with sodium & its high blood pressure in combo with insulin from starch &its addiction will eventually= heartattack or stroke.The real answer to your question is absolutely YES.

that's not what the chemicals are for, but yes all of our food is chock full of chemicals. i wonder why the people who are against smoking don't run food adds for the same thing. our meat/poultry have tons of chemicals in them, fast food, forget about it, i think a really small percentage of it is really food.

What they do is three things;
1st they put in a lot of fat. Our taste buds LOVE fat.
2nd they put in sugar. Our taste buds LOVE sugar.
3rd the foods they sell digest very quickly. Less than an hour.
So you are always hungry.
