yep. not just that we would be horribley inbred at this point. after a few generations physical deformities begin to occur. we should also no longer be able to produce offspring.
so technically we should all be crippled, retarded, blank shooting inbreds....
.....but we arent.

It's possible for people in the same religion to have very different ideas about it. So as the population (whoops, started to spell "poopulation"...don't know what that is, but I don't think I'd like it) grew, ideas would grow and develop as well.
Who says we're not all related? Last time I checked, both religion and science say that we are all descended from a common source, either humans created by some kind of deity, or by developing through evolution from the original primordial soup chunks. Which were probably all the same at one point--if they're merely dividing (and not mutating), then the daughter cells would be the same as the mother.
Conversion happens all the time. Many times, people grow up in one religion but choose another one later on. Or, parents stay in a religion, but their kids convert (like the Israelites--the parents did the Golden Calf religion, but the kids followed the Pillar of Cloud/Pillar of Fire religion.) Think about all the religions that have developed from the original idea of Christianity--Greek/Eastern Orthodox, Catholicism, Protestantism, charismatic churches, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists...they all started a while back with the original idea of Christianity (which was Judaism at one point itself.)
Religion and philosophy are always changing. Just look at the whole gay-OK vs. we-hate-gays issue in, say the Episcopalian church. Some groups are splitting off from the main religion over this issue. Change keeps happening.

Put the Ark into Royal cubits which is 25 inches.Every animal is a baby. Not all animals have evolved within their species, not until they are out of this totally tropical environment ,to places that are now ,dry, snowy, wet, and humid, salty and fresh.During the breaking up of the deep ,mountains plunged upward that were hills before. Now you have elevation evolution. Some adapt to high, some only to low.
After the flood ,they did try to stay together at Babel (Babylon),but God scattered them to fill the Earth up.I mean, please ,have you ever been to New York. They speak one English in Queens and down the road in Brooklyn it's a whole other ballgame.Head up the road to Woodstock and there are hillbillies, for gosh sakes. How much more scattered throughout the world with no communication for thousands of years?Every culture has some sort of trace memory of the flood ,whether it be Noah, or Gilgamesh's story or native American stories.
Not at all hard to grasp.
By the way,we are all related through Ham(africa) Shem( middle east) and Japheth(europe) all brothers, sons of Noah.If we weren't related we wouldn't be able to breed with each other.

There are many "great flood stories" in history occuring at diffeernt points in time, and basically say the same things..The most incredible thing is though the ark was found in Turkey about 9 years ago. Ancient Mysteries on Bravo had a program on it a while back.
And as for being related, we would be from Adam and Eve...

The Noah story was an exaggeration.
But, let's say for a moment that it were true.
Then, yes, we'd all be related.
As far as the same religion -- page forward a few pages in the Bible. God confused men's languages at the Tower of Babel, and after that, they scattered. A fundie would tell you that after that, various groups met up with fallen angels, and began worshiping them as if they were gods.

Science has disproved the ark story already but of course Christians will disagree. All I Hear is "with god anything is possible." If that's true then they wouldn't need an ark to begin with. At one point in history religious people believed that the sun revolved around the earth and it was blasphemous to believe otherwise, haven't we learned anything yet children?

Time magazine published an article a few years ago about a DNA sampling of a cross section of women worldwide covering woman of all major ethnic classifications. The article, titled Mother Eve, showed that the DNA characteristics of all the many women tested went back to one single woman!

As a metaphorical story about the importance of being good and obeying god/dess? Entirely feasible.
As a real account of a world-wide flood and the survivors of that flood? Eh, well, let's just say it doesn't exactly hold water.

Well the tower of Babel happened after Noah's flood, so we wouldn't all necessarily have the same beliefs.
But yes, I believe the flood happened.

Are you trying to talk to my kids? Talk to your own kids and tell them whatever you want to tell them. In the meantime, I will teach my children that the bible is fully true, not just parts of it. Have a lovely day.
