how do you make an accent grave in french for a it is like á but the other way on the computer?

To produce the à it is simple.

You can either copy it from my post or

When you are typing, hold ALT and press the number sequence 0224. When you release ALT it should produce the character à.

The á character you specified is produced in a similar manner but by pressing ALT+0225.

You can get a full list of these symbols and their shortcuts through the Windows Character Map.

To access it, Click Start, Click Run, then type "charmap" (without the quotes) and press OK.

Is this for a Web page? If it's for a Web page then you start by typing & then you type a then grave then ;

If you follow all that, it will show up as such: à

Alternatively, if it's not for a Web page (or even if it is), you could just try highlighting the letter above (that I just wrote out) and paste it into your desired document. (Go to Edit> Copy and then Edit menu: Paste)

I go to symbols and write in what ever letter and i look for the letter I want. Hope this helps!!!!

Go into "symbols", and scroll down, its next to the "e"s and the "o".. good luck!
