I can understand you wanting to be more of what's an average weight, but I find petite girls intriguing. I've said that before on answers. It's true. Everybody has a special look, though. I knew a baton twirler who complained that the outfits never fit her quite right because she was skinny, but she had the prettiest face and didn't realize that it overshadowed whatever she thought she was missing elsewhere. There was a skinny woman who played a piano for a church social event and some guy that didn't even speak English bopped her on the head with a cookie tray that he was carrying back to the kitchen. They eventually got married. That's why I'm here. They're married about 60 years now. So if skinny is all you're worried about, let me reassure you. You don't have to struggle to be like everybody else and you won't miss a thing.

I would say just try to eat right and enough. I've always been naturally thin and light and would love to gain some, but haven't managed much. I think some thinner people sometimes fill out a little more, into who they are meant to be, in their twenties. There's still time for ya. ; )
If you're really concerned, wouldn't hurt to get advice from your doctor about what you can do or suggest a nutritionist(?) or someone else you can contact that can give you some ideas.

It might be your metabolism that is that way, and you may never gain that much.I would see your medical doctor first, any make sure there is nothing wrong. and then go to a nutritionist and find out the proper foods to eat. Going on a diet that someone tells you might harm you more that help you. My daughter was slender all her life, at forty she still weighed the same as she was in her twenties, But thats how her body work, she ate everything, and never gained.

I don't know of any diets to gain weight, but I wouldn't worry about it, some people are just small, you will put on the weight as you get older. Believe me I did. It just comes naturally.

Talk to your pediatrician. If he/she thinks that you are a healthy weight, then don't worry. If the response is that you are underweight, ask about seeing a dietician. That way, you can gain wieght in a senseble manner.
