how do you tell a guy you like him by not being all awkward or do you have a friend do it for you??

i hate it when i get asked out by a guy and his friend does the asking. it ticks me off that he doesn't have the guts to do it himself. so mustering up the curage and doing it yourself is always best in my opinion.

It is obvious to me that most of the replies you have received to date are from kids. I'm 28 years old...I teach in a junior high. Since I'm older, have been through this, watch it on a regular basis, and am married, I feel l have some expertise in this area.
First-Don't tell a guy you like him unless you are going to burst. It changes everything (how you relate to him, how his friends relate to him, the gossip in the hallway, etc.). If you absolutely must burst, tell him yourself. I myself did this only once. Of all the other times (when friends told him), this was the only time it worked out well...I still didn't date the guy, but he was very understanding and receptive (this was in grade 9 I think). The awkwardness period was very short.
Don't send your friends. They aren't messengers!

Ok the first thing you do on letting a guy know you like him is dont tell anyone you like him...and especally dont ask a friend to tell him because a guy wants a girl whos not afraid to tell how she feels. And when you talk to him dont act all weird...just act cool dont make it obvious. Because its happened recently to me.
....DONT LET A FRIEND ASK FOR YOU! I had to say that... so just let it be and then when the time is right let him tell you and if
you feel you need to tell him let him know gentaly! And then

Never have a frxiend deliver a message like that. Now THAT'S awkward. You need to have the sand to tell him you're into him and do it. It sounds easier than it is, I know, but that's the truth.

Flirt. Make eye contact. Then walk over and make casual conversation. Start talking about music, or stuff that interests you. See how he reacts and play off that. Act really cute and coy. He'll eventually get the hint.

I think it would be better to have your friend go tell him you like him. If its a boy, I would say he should go and tell the girl but for you it is better for your friend to go say it.

Just constantly smile at him. Then when he asks why you are smiling so much, you should say, "Because your zipper is open and no one told you." When he looks down, just laugh and say, "I'm just playin', but I do think your cute."

well i usually have a friend do it for me or i text him
but if he asks personally i wont lie i'll just say "yes,is that ok?" to hide my nervousness
