you know how you are just staring at something and then people are like what are you looking at? then you look stupid just staring at something. well why do we do it???

When I stare, my brain seems to shut down. If I look off somewhere, my brain can be on other things but not when staring. Good question--one I have never really considered. Maybe my brain got super tired and needed a break. LOL

I usually do because I'm thinking about something else, like staring into space, same goes for when someone is right near you talking to you and you don't answer. Humans are very weird indeed.
