I'm going to Singapore in the spring and would like to visit another country afterwards. Any suggestions on what might be an interesting place to visit?

hmm.. singapore, sentosa, shopping is another thing, well actually nothing much to do there. you can roam around Singapore in just one day, thats how small it is. I suggest Philippines, its approximately 2 1/2 hours to get there. You can even go to Bali, Indonesia. But, i strongly suggest the philippines there are a lot of things you can do, diving, snorkling, water sports, man made lakes, you can swim with Whale sharks, mountain climbing, restaurants are everywhere, and people can speak english, that would be easier for the traveller.

Hong Kong is BRILLIANT!! I've been there and singapore twice now and I just love em...when in singapore make sure u go to Sentosa Island and Newtons Circus ( restaurant ). If u go to H.K..u must go on the Peak Tram...it travells up the side of a mountain and the views from the top r incredible...Have a gr8 time xx

From Singapore, you can hop in to nearby country like Malaysia - its by train, bus or plane. Indonesia - its a ferry away. Philippines by 3 hrs flight but surely you can have great holiday like whitesand beaches, snorkeling, diving, surfing, trekking, night life, bars- live bands, comedy bar, girlie bar, restaurants, great food and drinks etc.

u can also visit the philippines, an archipelago consisting of 7, 107 islands.. u can go island hopping, scuba diving, snorkelling and other water sports.. hope u can come

The Philippines if you like beaches, the sea, diving and stuff like that. Very beatiful place!
