It will show up in less than an hour.

It isn't likely that they will be able to tell how much unless it is a very high-end test.

It would show up in the urine probably a few hours after you take it - Probably the second time you urinate it would be in there.
As for how many - they can tell what level or approximate amount is in your system, i'm sure.
If you want to clean your system for a test, take time release niacin 1000 mg twice a day for three days starting four days before your test. Take NO niacin the day of your test.
Day of test, flush with at least one gallon of pure water per hour for a minimum of three hours before your test. You will pass your test. But make sure the niacin is time release! Niacin is vitamin B. You will feel hot during the niacin, also you will not feel any effects of any drugs you take while you are clearing your system out, obviously. Also, when you drink all that water, you will feel nauseated, etc. but thats normal.
ABSOLUTELY YOU MUST DO THE WATER PART.

Remember not to take the niacin the day of the test, or it will show up in your urine and you will be found out.

I think that Kat should get high. Maybe then she might realize that it's not that bad at all and she is just going off of the lies that her religion/government is telling her. Because in the end it's not really harming anything. Alcohol and cigarettes are far worse for your body than some mind cleansing herbal remedies.
