no, as long as u don't think about having sex u can have a girl and like go to the mall or movies or something but no sex.

i dont think 12 is too young to have a girlfriend. if that means going to movies and hanging out together. i do think 12 is too young to be enjoying some of the more "adult" parts of relationships. this seems too young for sex if thats what you're really asking about. but i can remember being 12 and having crushes and first kisses and stuff. i think it's entirely normal to find other people special. stay true to yourself. good luck!

Well that depends on what you. You may be perfectly fine with it but your best friend may be at a completely different stage of life. And having a girlfriend at age 12, doesn't mean much. My brother claims he has a girlfriend and he is 10. So i would say that yes, a girlfriend at age 12 is okay.

No, I think that its normal at that age to start dateing. Just respect the girl and dont pressure her into anything. Also remember that you guys are still young and got alot of time before your adults.

YES! I am 16 and I've been through that. Don't rush to grow up, enjoy your single-hood its hard being in a relationship. I would wait another year or 2. Have fun!!

i think that it is old enough 2 have a "boyfriend"
just u should not be going to there house alone
or on real dates
but just to say sum1 is "girlfriend"

It really depends on the maturity level. If you still think girls have cooties, then yes, honey, go do the 'voodoo' cootie shot thing. lol. But if you really think that your have feelings for this girl, then go ahead! have fun!
