You must be a right bunch of tinks citing the cost of the injection as a reason to kill the dog yourselves. I suspect you are some kind of inflamatory troll even suggesting this as no vet will put a healthy animal to sleep just because the owners cant train it properly. and as for 'keep it in the cellar and not tell the wife' what an idiotic solution. Spring for an add in the papers for a good home for it, I'm sure it will be cheaper than an injection. It seems that money is the issue here, you are obviouslly very poor and uneducated, probably the reason the dog bites people is hunger and neglect and/or cruelty. Your wife sounds like a class A ogre and the money the dog uses up obviouslly prevents her stuffing her gin-soaked log legs with more bloody food. Then she most likely hits the dog causing the bad temperament in it. The dog doesent bite you because you are the only one in that scummy house who isnt nasty to it. Sort out a good home for the dog ASAP, and I suggest you do the same thing for yourself whilst you are at it.

There is no god, your dog could be adopted by anyone and suffer a fate worse than death by a stick if you abandon it.
If it has bitten the family and your wife insists on getting rid of it, then you have 2 options, either pay for the injection against her wishes or take the dog to an animal shelter. They will either rehome it or put it down. Either of these options are better than killing it with a stick, I cant imagine anything more barbaric. What kind of woman are you married to?

Beating the dog is cruel and in-humaine. Letting the dog go to possibly starve or get hit by a vehicle is also irresponsible and cruel. Keeping the dog in the cellar is immature and unfair to the dog. Take the dog to the local animal shelter and let it have a chance at having a loving home.

Sounds like your dog had good reason to bite your wife.

Dont you dare kill the poor dog yourself. You got the dog and by getting the dog you made a promise to look after it and do the right thing by it. Yes it is bad that the dog has bitten people but have you asked yourself why it has done this?????. I suggest you take it to the vets as there is too many strays out there as it is and what happens if it gets run over, your loving face wont be the last thing it sees before it dies it will just feel pain and stress. Dont be heartless and stand up to your wife - the dog deserves better.

If you are unable to euthenize the animal then you should take it to the pound. They will euthenize it within a few days if it is not adopted. You could also try putting an add in the paper. Most papers do not charge for something when it is free. Check on that. I don't know how you would kill a dog with a stick---yeah, don't want to know. Anyways, there are other options besides storing it in your cellar. You will just have to work at finding the solution. Please don't dump the dog somewhere. This is crueler than killing an anmial in my opinion. It will end up being someone elses problem. That is not fair at all to either the dog or the person who finds it half starved eventually.

Beat your wife with a stick. Then kick her out and live happily ever after with your dog. Or at least find the dog a really good loving home asap. Call a no kill animal shelter near you and see if they'll take the dog. Tell them it's an emergency and your crazy bit*h wife might hurt the dog if they can't take it soon. Don't release the dog into the wild. That's almost as creul as killing it with a stick.

Beat your wife with a stick, and put her in the cellar or out in a field, but for heavens sake, take the dog to a shelter or somewhere else so it at least has a chance to be a "good dog" with another more loving family.

Yes, take it to a shelter, it is not legal or moral to abandon an animal like that, nor to lock it in a cellar, or to kill it with a stick.
Otherwise, let the RANT begin:
First, are you ducking daft? I would tell that wife to clear off. Sick sick wife to say the least. and
I wouldn't trade my two dogs for twenty women with gold pouring out of their bodily orafaces.
She must be some sort of unfeeling monster. I would use the stick on her haughty head first. If you were rid of her, you might have a chance to have a good life, you and your dog. If you need sex to be happy, then w@ank.

Why don't you try taking the dog to obedience training, or else you can always take it to the pound and give it up for adoption. It might be hard for you to let your dog go, but if your wife is really serious about killing the dog like that, giving the dog away would be the best solution rather than trying to hide the dog. Why is your wife taking this to the extremes, is she that cruel that she will murder the dog?

i know how u feel. I've had to give a lot of animals away because they didn't fit well with my family. i think it would be better for the dog if u let it out in the field. i once put two cats out in a field and a few weeks later i saw them eating a bird to gather but when i aproched them they ran from me.
If u take it to the pond, they will put it down. and if u keep it In your cellar the dog will be unhappy and your wife will find out. just remember that before we had animals as pets, they lived in the wild. good luck, keep me updated and do whats best for the dog.
