Most religions have tended to operate on a one-size-fits-all mentality. It was a “my way or the highway” attitude. Sometimes people as they grow older find that their religion no longer meets their spiritual needs. Here is where an understanding of personality type can help the individual find the kinds of experiences that are spiritually nourishing, and help the various religious faiths meet the needs of their adherents.
According to Jung and Myers personality has four dimensions and we each have a specific preference for one pole of each of these four dimensions: either Extraversion or Introversion, Sensing or Intuiting, Thinking or Feeling, and Judging or Perceiving. The emphasis is on the word ‘preference,’ for although we do prefer one pole from each dimension, we are still quite capable of using the other poles as well.
As we look over the various aspects of religion, note if your spiritual needs are being met. Also, consider how well your religion is meeting the spiritual needs of all its people.
The Extravert will become excited by being part of a large assembly of people. They are energized by others around them. Some religious ceremonies last for hours and are enjoyed by the Extraverted faithful. Introverts will be more nourished by quiet times alone, or in the silent times in a worship service. Another thing to take into consideration is that as we move into mid life we find that both Extraverts and Introverts are drawn to finding more time to be alone to ponder their life, what it has meant and where they are going on their spiritual journey.
The major faiths of the world all have elaborate ceremonies that are a feast for the senses: the colours of the sacred place itself, the vestments of the officials, music, incense, taste of special foods that are part of the ceremony, the embrace of one another and the laying on of hands. This is what the Sensor enjoys. It brings back past memories that evoke emotions that they relive. The Intuitives look for meanings in what is experienced. To them symbols are more than objects or drawings. They evoke an appreciation of the Divine.
The Thinker is nourished by a theology that tells them what the Supreme Being(s) is like and how the world operates. The great theologians of the ages have had a strong Thinking preference. Thinkers want to study the sacred writings and from them have an intellectual grasp of the Divine. Feelers want to know they are cared for by their faith. Does the Supreme Being know they exist and cares about them? Do they have to perform certain rituals to please this Supreme Being? Is there an opportunity within their faith to reach out and care for others? Do they only care for their own or is all humanity to be included in that caring?
Some religions follow elaborate rituals that must be precisely executed to be considered a proper act of worship. Others are very spontaneous, following an inner calling. This is the Judging-Perceiving dimension. How structured do you like your religious experience to be? Does it have to be the same for every ceremony? Or can it be open to change? Judgers tend to want everything to remain the same. New ideas are viewed with unease. They feel more comfortable when the order of the ceremony is the same each time they go to their place of worship. Perceivers want more variety. They see the Divine in the novel presentation. Bring in the clowns! In fact some groups have used clowns to spread the good news. Remember the movie Godspell?
What we all need to remember is that people are different, in fact sixteen ways of being different according to psychological type. Those that are in charge of worship, either the religious leaders and/or the laity, tend to prepare a worship service according to their needs. There has to be more input to find a format that meets the needs of everyone. The format itself is not the spiritual experience but is only a vehicle to help people have the spiritual experiences that nourish them.
Our spiritual experiences come in many forms. Even as our society is becoming more secular, there seems to be a longing to have our spiritual needs met. Knowing your personality can help you understand why you are drawn to certain experiences. Religious communities also have a responsibility to help meet these needs. When we realize that our differences are mainly because of our personalities and that we all see the world differently, we can become more tolerant of the many faiths of the world. We will be able to see the value in certain ceremonies and beliefs, if not for ourselves then for other personality types. We can see the Divine in ourselves and in all those around us. That is when religion and spirituality become one and the same.

Judaism in the oldest, and it is still waiting for the Messiah. Christianity is the 2nd oldest, and it feels that it's Messiah (Jesus) has already arrived. The reason the Jews don't think Jesus was the Messiah was because he didn't do everything he was predicted to do, so that is why the Christians think Jesus will come back to Earth. The Muslims have prophets instead, and Mohamed was the last prophet. Islam is similar to Christianity and Judaism because they share a lot of the same stories and the concept of monotheism, but they disagree about which son was almost sacrificed - Isaac or Ishmael.

The original, unchanged revelations given to Abraham and other prophets(like Moses and Jesus ) reaching back to Adam all came from the One True God(The Creator). This common origin explains their similarities in many beliefs and values

However, over time the teachings of the various religions, due to a variety of reasons, have become distorted and mixed with made-man ideas.

The last Prophet and Messenger of God, Muhammad , who is a direct descendant of Abraham through his first born son, Ishmael, was sent with the Last Guidance, Revelation and Testament, the Holy Qur'an(koran) to amend and correct the changes and corruption made to the the "Torah" which was sent to Moses and theTrue Gospel of Jesus. To say the truth ,God preserved all the other Holy Books plainly by preserving His Last Book the Holy Qur'an(koran)which contains the right and the truth of all that was changed in those other Books.

This is why this last Revelation which was sent 1423 years ago has remained unchanged, not even a word or a letter has been altered.

There is not even one word of difference between two Arabic Qur'ans, anywhere in the world. There has been no disagreements in history among Muslims as to what should and should not be in the Qur'an. However, in the case of the Bible, even the most ancient manuscripts conflict with one another so that no two are identical. Footnotes in all modern versions of the Bible prove this fact.

These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect

It was only natural for Almighty God to preserve the scripture revealed to Prophet Muhammad, because he was the last Prophet and Final Messenger of God.

Islam teaches us that we must pray directly to God without an intermediary and no soul can bear the burden of another and that the nature of humanity is good, and we did not inherit sin from Adam. Each soul comes into being free of sin.in Islam there are no priests or clergy -- each worshipper, man or woman, has a direct relationship with their Merciful Creator -- Almighty God. Since God is the Owner and Sustainer of everything, as well as the only one who can provide true and complete forgiveness, it is completely futile to try to approach Him through anyone else.

The oneness and universality of God's message requires that people accept all the messengers of God. Rejecting one of them amounts to rejecting them all. The Jews reject Jesus's mission and Muhammad's mission; the Christians reject Muhammad's mission; whereas the Muslims accept them all, but reject incorrect historical interpretations and human elements in these missions.

As the Qur'an is the final revelation and Muhammad is the final prophet, humanity is obligated to accept it: "If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost all spiritual good" (3:86).

The Final Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever believes there is no god but God, alone without partner, that Muhammad is His messenger, that Jesus is messenger of God, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven."

you can do that now as you are reading these lines is to pronounce the two confirmations and attestations of faith, here it is

I BEAR WITNESS THAT THERE IS NO GOD WORTHY OF WORSHIP EXCEPT ALLAH ( ARABIC WORD MEANS ONE GOD-THE CREATOR). AND I BEAR WITNESS THAT MUHAMMAD IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER. I BEAR WITNESS THAT JESUS IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER.

The right picture of lslam is conveyed in the Qur'an, which is exemplified by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The reality is that it is not fair to judge a religion by the actions of its followers alone because there are good and bad followers in every religion. The correct thing to do is to judge a religion by its documented revelation from God and the prophet who brought that revelation.

I encourage Christians and other religions to learn about Islam from Muslim sources and The Basis Of The Muslim Belief and not rely on second hand information which in many cases is distorted or contains a deep seated anti Muslim agenda. This is indeed a more scholarly approach

Aside from a whole lot of minor ceremonial and cultural differences (kosher foods, times of major religious holidays), there isn't any. Besides, they are all based loosely on the Old Testament.

All believe in God, the God in the OT.

Christians believe Jesus is the son of God, whose death provides the way to heaven, he is the Savior.

Islam believes Jesus was a prophet, not the Savior or son of God, and his teachings were incomplete, and Muhammed finished what Jesus was supposed to do.

Jews dont believe Jesus existed, or if he did, he wads merely a man, not the porphesied Savior they are still waiting for.

There is only one Religion who's Spiritual leader (for lack of another word) claimed to be the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again after three days. That is the most compelling difference between Christianity and any other religion. Read Josh McDowell's "Evidence that Demands a verdict" He started out to disprove Christianity and is now a strong advocate. Also, why don't you read and STUDY the Bible? I challenge you to do so.
