However I'm afraid your asking the question here is an invitation for a lot of silly people to do it. I hope that was not your intention.
Taking the Lord's name in vain is not only using it as a cuss word. It can also be promising something in the lord's name and not keeping your promise. Or it can be using God to back up one's silliness or perverseness. I think some false people sometimes do that.

In vain could also mean to no avail so the people who say they are Christians and are not may be headed for trouble when they say they do something "In Jesus name"

I assume you mean using the word "god" as an expletive, usually in front of the words "d*** it"? I do it once in a while; I'm trying to stop. I feel guilty because I feel it's giving recognition to a deity I don't worship.
