Have you any side effects?

Mine are --
Swelling of my lower legs and feet.
Weight gain.
Hair loss.
Bleeding gums.
A rash on my feet.

And if anyone has come off the drug, how soon does your body go back to normal?

I have a blood test every week, my last count was 3.7 and they still want me to take 10 mg, which I think is crazy. I have been to 3 different doctors about the side effects and they just don't want to know, yet it says in the handbook to see your doctor immediately if you have any side effects. I've even tried to go private but they have to have a referral from my doctor, so what can I do?

my dad takes it and he does sweat alot but he also has regular checks with his doctor to make sure hes on the right dosage.if your new to this drug then blood checks should come as routen.as taking the wrong dosage can lead to thicker or thiner blood and this could be whats cousing your side affects.he also put on a bit of wieght.but i think that took time to even its self out.still go to your doctor soon.good luck.

Strongly suggest that you go the local hospital and seek expert help there.

You should not mess about when taking Warfarin - it is a strong drug and there are many side affects so you need to take good care and if the GP's don't know how to help get in touch with those who will.

I am about to ask my doctor in a few days about that.I have been takeing warfarin for over 12 years and I am worried about my veins.I have bloodclots and I have to take it. It can be very dangerous and if you are bleeding from anyplace you better contact your doctor now.Please.

I have taken it in the past, but suffered no discernible ill effects. Have you consulted your doctor about these side effects, they seem to me to be fairly severe?
