OK Mr. Science Rules! Babylon was a center of pagan culture, opposing God and His ways from very early in human history. Isaiah prophesies that Babylon would be overthrown like Sodom and Gomorrah. The fulfillment of the prophecy went through various stages. The first was the Assyrian attack on Babylon in 689 BC, when Sennacherib overthrew it. After it rose to power again under Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon was captured in 539 BC by Cyrus of the Medo-Persian empire. In 518 BC, the city was ravaged again, it's walls were torn down, and it fell into total ruin. An ironic note here is that the ruins of Babylon are in Iraq. The destruction of Babylon is a type of the end-time destruction of all God's enemies and the final judgement to come over all the earth during the tribulation. God made sure that Babylon would never again be inhabited. ..........so, Mr. Science Rules, how does science feel about killing children? I can answer that one, too. This country is killing children THROUGH SCIENCE by the millions! These babies have done nothing to doctors, they have done nothing to their parents that kill them cold-bloodedly, they have done nothing to the federal gov't, which funds one of the largest child killing organizations in the entire world: Planned Parenthood. This occurs daily. Now. In modern times, not in a barbaric era, such as Babylon in 600 BC. Gee, science is much better, isn't it, Mr. Science Rules?

this was also in the old tesstament wich was filled with death and rape and many terrible things to punish the sining people for what they had done wrong. In the new tesstament jesus christ came to earth and died for our sins so we could go to heaven as long as we are saved. Gid was a tough like a loin and merciful (lamb) thats what people always say. When Jesus Christ cam people and animals wernt sacrificed anymore for sins it was jesus so the ordering for peoples death stopped.
I hope that i helped

God said, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord." Isaiah 55:8
Again as God said, "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9
The Bible is pretty clear that you are not "good" on your own merit.

I knew that. The question is, do you know WHY?
Apparantly not. Its a prophecy, not a command. A warning of things to come. A punishment for those who are deserving of punishment. How can a child be deserving of punishment? Keep looking you;ll find it.

Don`t quote a book you don`t understand. Graduate from highschool first, then learn greek, latin and hebrew then study the bible and the early church writings...then quote it. At least then you will have a clue about what you are writing about.
