or from the 7th day to the first day. Look all you want, you will not find it. Yet most Christians go to church on the wrong day. Show me the scripture where the change was made, and I will go to church on Sunday.

Hi dances_wi..., there is a church that Keeps the True Sabbath, and it is from Sundown Friday to Sundown Saturday. It's not Jewish, it's Christian.

lady_blue... Everyone knows by Jewish History that the 7th day of the week is Saturday. Also, you can look in any dictionary.

Its not there, however, you are using the wrong calendar. We should really worship Friday Night to Saturday, with the Jews, as Jesus did. Using the Calendar and traditions he used.

Going to church is different to the sabbath as this was a jewish custom and is part of the old covenant. I think we can worship God everyday - it is not a legalistic thing and is not limited to only one day of the week. I would hope that most christians would be open to meeting with other believers/worshipping God at any time they had the opportunity.

The more often the better I think. Saturday is fine, so is any other day. God deserves our praise everyday even if it is just from our heart at home.

Luke 4:6 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, AS HIS CUSTOM WAS, he went into the synagogue ON THE SABBATH DAY.

1 John 2:6 He that saith he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day Yahweh ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the SEVENTH day from all his work which he had made.

3 And YAHWEH BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, AND SANCTIFIED IT: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Yahweh created and made.

He did not bless or sanctified the first day or sunday, if you want to be sanctified you must keep all of the Laws of Yahweh.

Christians go to church and celebrate on Sunday to honor the Resurrection of Christ. Easter Day is the day that the entire Christian year is based upon. That is why Christians attend on Sunday. Do not confuse the old and the new testaments. The sabbath was to be kept holy because it was the mandate of God for His chosen people, the Jews. With the advent of Christendom during the time of Christ and with the observance of his resurrection we worship according to the Christian belief of everlasting life.

It doesn't. Sabbath and Sunday are two different things. Sabbath is Saturday, the seventh day. In the Epistle to the Hebrews, we learn that the Sabbath has already been accomplished in Christ, so we have come in to a perpetual Sabbath (meaning we are not expecting to be accepted by God on the basis of our works, but on the basis of grace).
On the other hand, we see how historically (in the book of Acts, and in 1st Corinthians), Christians tended to meet on the First day of the week, possibly because it was ressurection day, I don't know. It was not necessarily a day of rest, as many who met had surely worked all day as slaves. It was not intended to replace the sabbath. I notice that many of those who want Christians to continue to observe the Sabbath as a special day of rest are people who continue to see the law as a means of salvation, who don't have assurance of their status in the family of God. They are often based on works - a need to deserve their relationship with God. Not necessarily all, but many.
There is no Biblical obligation for Christians to meet on Sunday - it could be any other day. But it is convenient to do it on the same day and Sunday has become a convenient day for it.

"Christians go to church on the wrong day". Uhmmm excuse me, but shouldn't every day be used for the glory and teaching of God? If there are churches open on Sunday, you should readily go. Same thing with Tuesday or Wednesday, or any other day. In fact I disagree with people who only reserve one day of the week for devotions, that is like being 1/7th a Christian, or 1/7th a Jew, or whatever. We should be 7/7th a Christian/Jew.

Since god never mentioned what day he started any day could be the sabbath, and if we would all be following the Jewish faith then Saturday would be the sabbath for everyone, but we're not

That is the dumbest reasoning ever. There are masses on all days of the week.

Tell me where in the bible it says that there should be different denominations of Christianity.
