There are many reasons ... your prayer may not have been in line with his will, or he could have answered it in a way you didn't expect (or like), what youre going through (the reason you prayed) may be meant to happen to you so that you can learn something from it, or perhaps he is waiting.

Psalm 66:18 "if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me."
And in Isaiah 55 it says "your sins have separated between you and your God."
! John 5:14-15 sya that God will give us whatever we ask if it is in accordance with his will.
SO, there are a couple of possibilities why your prayers were not answered. First, you may have sin in your life that you refuese to let go of. Or, your prayer may be for something selfish or that God does not think is for your best interest.
Study your Bible; you will find many things that God wants to do for you and to give to you, and you can pray for those things and know tat your prayers will be answered.

i'm sorry that's what you are thinking. GOd does asnwer all prayers, however it's not always in what we feel is the proper time - God's time is not our time. besides, just because we ask for something, the asnwer isn't always yes. sometimes it's yes, no or in a little while.
we oftenthink we know what is best and that we want what we want when we want it. God often has different plans and different timing.
this is a pretty freakish analogy but the movie Signs.... the little boys athsma saved him and the little girls freakish tendency to leave water all over saved them all. we don't know the big plan. look at cross stich - that beautiful embroidary. as a child you sit and watch granny in her chair - you're looking up and see nothing but weird zigzags of color - starting and stopping running hither and yon. it's not until you can see the finished product from above to know what the picture really is.
good luck with you question - i hope you're able to find what you need!

Prayer is not for the personal gain of the person praying. St. Basil the Great indicates that there are four components to prayer: adoration, thanksgiving, confession of sin, and petition for salvation. You must be able to make your will and hence your prayer coincide with the will of God. If this is not achieved you will constantly have obstacles in your path. The feelings of discontent or anger, unhappiness, perplexity or impatience are observed when a person places earthly wants and desires above the will of the Lord.

I would say He woke you up this morning and gave you another day. I know sometimes it seems our prayers aren't answered but I think sometimes we don't really see how we've been protected, and how God is really watching over us...I believe if you pray with a sincere heart and believe at least as the size of a mustard seed you will get an answer especially if you ask for God to reveal Himself to you....

I would say she's still walking blind and ot in faith. God answers all prayers. It might be no, it might be yes but not now, It might be yes on the spot. Just five minutes ago I prayed that ineeded gas in my car as soon as i got home my mom told me my check just came in. Good timing? but it always happens like this God will answer. And God does ALOT for you. take yourself out of your body mentally and look at your situation. Your breathing still. and you can eat, apparently you have access to the internet. There are people who have nothing less than you and I who believe God helps them. He's always there you need to keep faith and open your bible. I found out the more your in connection with God the more "Gifts " he gives us. Trust me he's there

I listen ya. I exist. i do not position self assurance in God anymore for that very reason too. human beings will inform you "God has a plan." yet that is stupid. Why would not he come down and lose his wallet and get mugged and downsized and hit through a motor vehicle HIMSELF! If it is not YOUR plan on your life to suck, why do you may could stay it? it is because no individual is making plans your life. Crap occurs and in case you stop praying and only admit we are on my own right here in the global to determine out what's authentic, then we commence taking duty for our lives. after we attempt this, we are on excellent of issues. not god. Make your life artwork. Do it and also you'd be so happy with your self. ignore about blaming some thing you have not in any respect seen and is largely rumour. reliable good fortune.

This is very tough to answer. Thanks for such a challenging question! Well, to sum it all up, I'd say they may have not been patient enough to recognize the answer when it did come. Or that the answer came in a different form. Also, some people test God, by saying stuff like "hey, do this and I'll do this" or "If you are so great, why dont you do 'X' ?" God does not reply to that.

I would tell her that just because she thinks God hasn't answered her prayers, doesn't mean that he hasn't. Sometimes God answers "no". If she is praying to win the lottery, she should ask herself is this truly a prayer for God? I have prayed for things that I thought I needed-God didn't feel that way.

At first, I don't think I could really say anything. I would try to listen and encourage the person to tell me more what is on her mind - some prayer or concern that she felt God was ignoring. And If she was willing, I would pray with her about the matter.
I would probably eventually try to encourage her to explore what her actual relationship with God is.
