I'm 5'3" and weigh approximately 225. For someone my height, the heavier side of normal is 140. You, my friend, have nothing to worry about. I'm happy with myself the way I am and you should be happy with yourself.
Enjoy life, get involved in a sport you enjoy(I enjoy hockey). You're too young to start worrying about whether or not you're "fat". Plus if you start dieting at such a young age, you'll be in a vicious cycle of dieting. You're still growing. You'll probably get a bit taller which should even out the weight anyway. I say don't worry about it. Be yourself...and don't let what others say about you get you down. They're only feeling bad about themselves and need to make someone else feel lower so they can feel better about themselves.

Absolutely not! Sounds like youre going to be tall! Lucky you. You are the perfect weight, even if you were an adult fully grown. Im grown, weight 135 but am 5 ft 2 inches, and not fat. You're perfect, dont try to lose weight at all! Dont let anyone tell you different either. Loss of weight at your age, at your height may cause you health problems. Smile, you deserve it.

Your BMI (how much you weigh compared to your height) is bigger than about 75% of other girls your age. You weigh more than average, so you may feel fat compared to other girls in your class, but your not fat.
You have to be honest with yourself about why you weigh more than average. If you get lots of exercise, like if you do sports, then your body has lots of muscle for its size, which is heavier, healthier, and looks better.
But if you don't exercise, then you may not have much muscle, which means that more of your weight is body fat. Even a skinny girls that don't have much muscle will have a little extra fat on their tummy or legs.
In the meantime, get lots of exercise, eat well, and grow into the healthiest body you can!

I think that you are looking at it all wrong.....the number of pounds you weigh is not important, if you are eat healthy foods and getting regular excercise (not working out, but being active) then I think you will grow into your own body. 12 years old is an akward place to be and your body is trying to develop. Make good choices and don't worry about your weight.

Well, medically speaking we can calculate your BMI or body mass index. and what you do is take your weight in kilograms so 130 pounds divided by 2.2 which equals about 59 kgs, and then take your height in meters which is about 1.6531 meters and then you divide your weight by height squared 59/1.6531e2 = 59/(2.73273961)= 21.59 which falls in the normal range. The normal range is from 18-25. So you are a 21.59, almost perfectly in the middle.

It relies upon on your bone shape. Are you a small, petitte bone shape? Or a large boned individual? Is your weight as a rule fat or muscle (do you get exercising?), that's your physique fat point. i could say, given your age, to not difficulty. Get exercising every day, eat healthy, no fatty meals, sodas or junk. Drink water.

Not particularly. Especially since you're likely to get taller soon. On average, a 5'5" woman should weigh about 125.
