my fiancee has really bad nerves. he's always shaking and he bites his nails out of a nervous habit.. he's facing being a new dad in the couple of weeks and also could be looking at a year in jail right after the baby arrives (it's not a huge charge... just a misdeamenor possession charge).. so his nerves are going crazy right now.... he should really be on a perscribed nerve pill... i have seen him when has taken one and he's normal and happy... how can we go about getting him a perscription so that he can become more stable.... he has no insurance and we have very little money... i just want him to be normal and not flipping out all the time.. i'm very worried about him...

There are low-cost health clinics out there. You just need to check the phone book for them. It sounds like he really does need help. Remember, it is against the law for him to be refused medical attention of any kind simply because he does not have insurance. Go get help!

There should be low cost health clinics in which ever state you live in. So take him there and have him seen by a doctor and he can get something for his nerves. Good Luck to the both of you.

Considering he has a chage for possession and may spend the next year in jail (not a "big charge" huh? I call that big), I would say he shouldn't be taking anything that could become addicting. I suggest he gets counseling and grows up now that he's going to become a daddy. He needs to be evaluated to see what his problem is if it goes beyond just being a "problem".
