Is it none, because fundamentalists are incapable of change?
Or none because Fundamentalists like to live in the dark?
Does this represent 1.a paridigm of the dichotomy in our civilisation between variously, extremists, moderate people of faith and atheists?
2.A subverse attempt using the vehicle of humour to stir up and inflame the already troubled and divided culture?
3 A daft joke?
Nutters and fanatics only please, they give all of us the best larfs. Also I promise I will give all the best most inflamed loony rants a share in the royalties for my new book entitled 'God, and why hasn't he found me yet?' Cheers!

None, since they know how to switch it on.

I am a fundamentalist and regularly renew the wicks of our lighting system. Those other things, "electric bulbs" as you atheistic hell fodder call them are not mentioned in Revelations, and so are spurned as demonic devices. Many attempts have been made to connect our community to the Devil`s listening devices, and just like Burt Reynolds we sent them a`squealing back down the hill. We don`t need no lectrickery, we bask in His light, and come the day , all meters shall be read , and there will be much wailing, for now ye shall pay for earthly excesses! Depends on the perspective, personality, culture, sense of humour, etc of the asker...

...although on a site like this and due to the number of wind up merchants out there, id hazard a guess at... 2.A subverse attempt using the vehicle of humour to stir up and inflame the already troubled and divided culture!

fair cop, but first I have to satisfy your qualification criteria:

1 I am a nutter - I am Welsh.

2. I am a fanatic - I cry watching Star Trek (but not deep space nine)

Now that you know how eminently qualified I am - the answer (based of years of study of Psychology, to the point where any reasonable person will conclude it's a pile of horseshit) is:

Alightbulb cannot be changed, unless it really wants to.

Hmm... None, because since lightbulbs were invented by a scientist, they obviously don't work anyway?

None, they just sit there in the dark wondering what they did wrong?

So many possible punchlines.

Edit: Lamplighter, I'm sure you could go on all night, but would you ever come up with a funny one?

How many atheists does it take to change a lightbulb?

None, they don't believe in lightbulbs.

None, darkness isn't enough evidence that the lightbulb needs changing.

None, they would rather curse the darkness.

None, because if there really was a lightbulb it would change itself.

None, atheists love the darkness.

Well, I could do this all night... but on to more productive things! :)

They would probably just blow it up instead. On a deeper note is the light shade that covers the bulb a bizarre type of Burka type thing?

If it was Catholics I'd say none because we do not need lightbulbs. We are the light of the world through Jesus our Lord.

Just one. They stand still holding the bulb while the whole world revolves around them...
