It's important in a relationship, but it isn't the MOST important thing. If it's truly a "relationship", the friendship you have with your partner is more important. If you can't be friends out of the sack, you probably won't last long in it.

Absolutely Not, but it does help. Love is the most important thing in a relationship. One needs to know the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul. Love doesn't mean leaning, company doesn't mean security, and kisses aren't contracts. Presents aren't promises. Knowing your partner and respect is the most important thing......humor goes a long way too!

sex is definitely not the most important aspect in a relationship there are so many more things that you should be worrid about in a relationship besides sex.. like getting to know one another and enjoying each others company and making each other laugh smile and fall in love... sex is just one of the many options to show someone how much they mean to you but there are many more things i promise

The issue of intimacy can be the most important thing in a relationship if both partners deem it to be. However if either partner is unhappy with a disparity of need between the two of you then you are going to have problems. Compromise must be explored so both are happy. Rarely are both partners equally happy with the level of intimacy in a relationship. If you are, then congradulations. Most aren't.

No. As couples grow their sex drives change and vary over time, sex comes and goes. Honest communication, about everything including sex, is much more important than sex. That said, sex does produce a bonding chemical that is pleasurable physically and helps couples 'feel' close, sex is not 'unimportant'.

Chemistry is important but it needs to be balanced with love, respect and trust. A healthy sex life is important, but so are many, many other things.

No I think there must be trust in order for a relationship to work then sex comes into the equation. You need to know your partner in order for it to work if its based on just sex I wouldnt recommend on not getting married for that one reason.
