i am a qualified chef with 3 years experience

if depends on how the fish is fried

shallow fried

if its a white fish serve with a steamed pak choi cut in half length ways also steam some french beans until tender but with a little bite to it

if its a oily fish as like salmon serve with steamed leeks and boil some Charlotte potato's with skin on drain and cool cut into half center meter disks and put in a deep fryer untill the outside is crispy then drain and cover the fish with a hollandaise sauce and put chopped chives over the sauce

if its deep fried fish you cant fail with french Fry's all tough i would serve with a marinaded salad and the Charlotte potato's

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU5VU

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

All sorts of things! I like french fries, cole slaw, pinto beans and corn bread. But just about any combination of a starch, such as potatoes or rice, a green vegetable or two, and bread makes a very nice dinner.

In the restaurants around here fish fries are served with french fries (or a baked potato) and cole slaw.

WOW! I haven't had fish and grits in a LONG time! I haven't even thought about it!

Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question, because now I have fish and grits on the brain! And I don't even have grits in the house.

Man, fish and grits. wow....

Rice.

I know rice is tricky to make but try this recipe, it's actually meant to be consumed with fried fish and it tastes very good:

Ingredients: (4 servings)

* basmati or long-grain rice, 1 lbs
* herbs (parsley, dill, cilantro, green onion), 2 bunches of each
* cooking oil
* salt
* black pepper

Directions:

Wash herbs and chop finely, then add salt and black pepper. Prepare rice as described in the recipe for rice, but after rice is half-cooked and rinsed, mix it with herbs and continue cooking. This herb rice is usually served with fish.

Rice:Wash rice twice and soak in salted warm water for 3-4 hours, then drain the water. Pour water in a large non-stick pan until it is half-full and bring it to a boil. Add rice and a spoonful of salt and continue boiling until rice slightly softens. Pour rice into a drain and wash it with slightly warm water.

Pour a few spoonfuls of cooking oil into the pan and add rice. Pour a few more spoonfuls of oil over rice. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for about half an hour. If cooking time is increased, a delicious crispy layer of rice will form at the bottom of the pan.
