1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
I think if you live in constant prayer, constant communication with the LORD, then everything else you need will always be there before you.

Not any particular verse it is all Gods words. But if I must say something I would not prefer a verse but a section . "The sermon on the Mount" recorded in Mattew chapters 5, 6 and 7 . Because it shows what a Great teacher Jesus was and is! The greatest teacher who ever lived. These chapters give you direction as how to live your life in a good way, and if everyone followed what is written here , we would not have wars, we would not have hunger, we would not see hatred between people and nations. I could go on , but read for yourself.

Ephesians 2:8-9
It is by grace that you are saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is a gift of God-not by works,so that no man can boast.
Becuase this defines how we get to heaven not by good deeds or sacrifices but by accepting our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a GIFT that you must accept. Many people think living a good life is how to get to heaven. This verse disproves them.

I John 3: 23 "And this is his commandment, that we should believe on his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment. This one because Jesus said it was above all other commandments.
I John 4: 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. This one so that we may not be deceived.

What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"
27He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'[c]; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[d]"
28"You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live." Luke 10:26-28
Cause if you love as is outline in 1Cor 13. Then it will all be good (thus eliminating those who believe having sex with somebody is love - which it totally is not - it is just how some people with diseased minds justify what they are doing)

I think it should be this one:
Luke 10:27
He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' ; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "

"Love your neighbor as yourself" - which means to do good to others and to render justice to them, as you would want it done to yourself (Lev 19:18).
