Is rubbing sour lemon on skin of the face have any good effect?

To my skin's great benefit I squeeze a lemon once a week and keep its juice in the refrigerator. In the morning, I dab some of the juice on my fingers and pat it onto my face, leave it on for ten minutes or so and then rinse.

well after reading a lot of similar questions on here what i started to do is squeeze a little fresh lemon juice into my cream...mix it up and put it on my face as i normaly would.my skin is incredibly smooth and has a beautiful glow now and my dark areas are slowly fading..i dunno if you'd get the same results..its worth a try
