No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a HS junior asking out a HS Freshman. Now, whether she'll be allowed to go out with you is a different story, but there is no harm in asking.
Now, if you had the nerve to ask out a college Freshman, now that would be something.

Your question shows a fair amount of maturity. When you ask the girl, be aware that she may not be allowed to date yet. Be willing to hang at her house and meet her parents a few times. If you really like her, suggest playing a game of Clue or Monopoly with her family. That way they can all get to know you. If they know you, they will feel safer letting their "little girl" go out with you.

I personally don't see anything wrong with it, but I'd like to give you a word of caution:
If you are worried about what others think, you may not want to do it. I know that people at my school see older kids as desperate when they ask out younger kids... it's nothing personal, but people wonder why they can't go out with someone in their own grade.
But if that doesn't bother you, and you really, really like her, then go for it!

No bc i have had this happen my bf well ex lol he was a junior and i was a freshman last year and he asked me out and it was good. the only reason we broke up was bc he was going to college soona nd we are still friends but like he wants to be friends until he graduates. but yeah goo for it who cares what ne one thinks!!
