I am studying Hebrew using Rosetta Stone's program. It is very good, and is available either online or on a CD (which I prefer). They are at http://www.rosettastone.com, and you can "test-drive" the software online before you buy it.

Well not to sound too cheap but you could find the local synagogue. They are usually thrilled that people take interest in their culture. Currently that's what I am doing starting January when the semester begins.
