Go to your OBGYN. If you don't have one and your mom won't help you, go to Planned Parenthood and get a OBGYN visit. They have low cost alternatives and your parents don't have to be informed.

Only a doctor, not your mother or your friends, can tell you what is wrong or not wrong.

Now, I would tell your mom that you have having other issues, like pain or something, and that for your health , you think you should go. She might resist, mainly because she will think you want to have sex or something, but talking to your mom to get an appointment is the best way.

If she doesn't help you, get a friend with a car, get some money, and go. If you do have an infection, you could seriously get sick. If it is an STD/STI or just a bacterial infection, you need to get checked. If you are a virgin, you still need to be checked.

I think you posted in the wrong area...I think it should be in women's health. Sometimes you can use over the counter remedies to treat it but it depends on the severity. Sometimes it is necessary to go to the doctors to get something to really stop it. If you only symptom is discharge this could be normal. Yeast infections are usually very uncomfortable. Cause a lot of irritation, redness, swelling and most importantly a thick white discharge. If you are still concerned it is not a big deal to go to you doctor. Yeast infections are very common so don't stress!

yeast infections can go away on their own.. often times during your cycle.
other times medication is required and sometimes it won't go away.
you need to see a doctor for diagnosis, esp if you've never had one before..
