Is he ashamed of me or something? He doesn't seem too bothered about ever asking me to join in things he does with his friends. His group of friends is mixed, boys and girls, so I can't even just say that he does "lad things". We talked about this before, and I always ask him to do things with my friends, but he always has some reason not to. It hurts me because I can't help but feel like he just wants to keep me away from everything! Plus, on the rare occasions I do things with him, he never introduces me to anyone! I'm an outgoing person so it doesn't stop me from having fun but I don't understand why he chooses to make it so hard for me to be a part of his life that way! Do I embarrass him that much?

You need to dump him.
First of all, if you meant a lot to him and if he was proud to have you to call his girlfriend, he'd want you around to show off to his friends. Secondly, he's not just "hanging out with the guys", there are girls around as well, so why can't you go?-- you're a girl.
He doesn't respect you and he's not including you in things because his friends come first and he's not worried about you or respecting you—he's too busy hanging out with his friends.
You deserve better!

Maybe you do embarass him: What's wrong with you.
Maybe he's rude: That'll never change.
Maybe he can't remember the other person's name: Introduce yourself.
Maybe he's self centered: There are other signs.
Maybe he thinks he's better than you and he'll never meet the girl of his dreams with his loser girlfriend hanging around.
Dump him.

i say all looks normal. what is abnormal is own little worry over a "young man" -- who probably is not your type and/or you are not his type. whatever that means. it happens often in life -- good to hear from you that no costs are involved, no divorce, no children with no parents around, etc. etc. consider yourself luck and promise yourself to see a good movie and then have nice bite at a restaurant all "alone" to celebrate the freedom of bein by yourself and for yourself. bonjour.
