According to the astrologers and the Zodiac signs, it is now the Aquarian Age -- the age of acquiring tremendous knowledge, i.e. the information highway of Internet perhaps?
It follows the 2,000 years of the Piscean Age, which started at the time when JC walked on the Earth.
In the 1960s, the musical "Hair" came out with that familiar line "...it is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius..."
