ive been dating this boy for a year. i used to work in an expensive clothes shop for men and he and his friends used to come in alot and buy clothes out of the shop. he asked me out one day and i said yes. after going out i asked him were he lived and about his family, and he came right out and told me that i couldint meet his parents or go to his house when his family was there because they wouldint approve of him going out with someone from working class. when i finally met his mum and dad they totallly snubbed me and his sister acted as though i werent even there. my friend think i should dump him because he is bascially embarassed of me . do you think because his family has more money and have a beter house does it mean hes beter than me

it doesn't mean he's better than you..it means he has more money than you.
however, a lot of people do not like to date outside of their class. i have a friend who loves me to death.. would ove nothing more than for me to give up my pee on job and have him support me and live with him. he pulls down over 6 figures a year. does he think of me any less b/c i have a 7 dollar an hour type job. no, b/c he sees that i have goals ambitions and whatnot..
have you ever thought you might just be fun for the guy?? sorry, but if you were important to him..than he'd introduce you to the family. obviously you aren't b/c he won't.. so it's high-time you make a decision of wanting to be with him or not and accepting how he treats you..

I kinda agree with your friend. If he is ashamed of you then he should have never wasted your time.

You can work this to your advantage though. If he really likes you, make him prove it. I don't mean make him spend money, because he will do that on his own, but avoid having sex with him as long as you can. Men want things they can't have. I am not saying fake your feelings or put him in a situation to where he has to choose you or his family, but the best way to deal with snobs is to give there attitude back to them. Continue to treat them like there money is nothng, because the reality is that it isn't.

The strong willed women is more powerful then a deep pocketed man. Look at how many rich and powerful men have fallen at the hands or should I say thighs of a beautiful women.

Did he act t he same way his family did or did he act the same way he always does? It does not matter if he is richer then you money has nothing to do with class. If he likes you for who you are and you like him for who he is then stay together but you should ask him how he feels about the situation and tell him how you feel about it.

No you are way better that him!!! Money isn't everything hun, those rich people think they're the s*** but that's what they are, they don't even know what love is don't you think that's sad? Money = love to them you don't need that you need real love. Like someone else said they don't have class you do.

No way!!! Money doesn't buy class!! One thing I have to tell you. Your partner should always be proud of you. Everywhere!! A partner that isn't proud of you will probably never marry you, so he is using you while he finds the "appropriate" wife. Forget him!!

NO it absolutley does not mean he is better! in fact, by the shameless and CLASSLESS way he and his family acted, i think you are better than they are. get rid off him and find someone who is worthy of YOU.
