How old is the child? Depending on the movie, the child may or may not need to be there in the first place (i.e. 2 year old in Saw III, what are people thinking??!). Missing parts of movies is just part of having kids, you just have to deal with it. You certainly can't let them go there. Try to plan ahead, get there early and make sure your child goes before the movie starts. But please, for the rest of us, don't let your child kick and scream through the movie. I don't think parents should take their kids to a movie theater until they're able to watch a movie at home all the way through. Younger kids sometimes aren't interested in a film that long and can be disruptful to the rest of the audience.

Take the poor child to the restroom! That's awful if you don't only because you don't want to miss a part of the movie. You should care a lot more about that child than you do the movie.
anyways, to help so you don't have to make bathroom breaks during the movie, take the child to the restroom before the movie starts, and if they pee a lot, then limit what you give them to drink during the movie.
My son is 13 months... we still haven't taken him to the movies yet- waiting for him to get a little older, because he doesn't really watch that much tv anyways at this age.

Let the child go to the bathroom. That is pretty selfish to not bring them to the bathroom because you do not wish to miss part of a movie. Try to remember what it feels like when you have to pee so bad that it hurts and you can't go.

If a child needs the washroom, then you must bring them to one! After you have a child, that child is your responsibility for life, and shouldnt be brushed aside for a movie, when the poor thing only needs to go to the bathroom. Its called a DVD, rent the movie next time.

too crazy, so what happened...did your mom not take you to the bathroom because she didn't want to miss the movie? Well if so that is selfish. Children shouldn't go to the bathroom by themselves at the movies anything could happen to them. If your dad wad there he should have gotten up with you instead of him being selfish too. But if there wasn't a father around your mom should have gotten up. It would save her the headaches of a child with a urinary tract infection! My son is 3 years old

Your question dose not make sense. If your child is 1-10 then you have to take them to the bathroom and stop being selfish. Are you just going to let them cry or go in their pants? Older than that they should be able to go by themselves and if they can't you should take them anyway. Not missing any part of the movie, please. If you think like that you should not be a parent.
TELL YOUR MOM TO TAKE YOU TO THE BATHROOM!!!

Ummm....I would get off my butt and take them to the bathroom. If you don't want your movie to be interrupted by a child, then leave the child with a sitter! I usually have to get up twice to take my kids to the restroom during most movies at the theater. my children are 6, 4, and 3.

Are you kidding me? You're more concerned about missing parts of a movie rather than letting your child GO TO THE BATHROOM??? Stay home next time.

I have two children, 1 and 3 years old, and if my child wanted to go to the bathroom in the middle of a movie, I would jump out of my seat, scream, "he's gotta go potty" with glee, and go with him - because he's being awfully stubborn with potty training, and this would be a major brakethrough! :) Even with a potty trained child, I'd take them - you can always rent a movie.

i don't have one but seriously why can't you miss a little bit of a movie to take you rkid to the bathroom. there is always renting it later if you missed something important or if you wanted to see the movie so bad why not get a babysitter and go watch it without the kid.
