Long-term issues include damage to the brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and just about everything else. (1) However, there's still hope for a return to physical normality - one study suggests that the brain can heal itself from damage due to meth if given enough time. (2) Similar non-drug-related studies point to regenerative properties for the heart even after a heart attack (3), as well as the lungs and other organs after cessation of smoking tobacco. (4) So yes, there is hope.

More importantly, regardless of your physical health there is always an opportunity for reconciliation and forgiveness from God. Jesus loves all of us, and he bore the penalty of our sins upon the cross to open the doors of God's Kingdom to anyone who professes genuine faith. It's the broken sinners who acknowledge their flaws, not the self-righteous blowhards who feign perfection, that Jesus came to save. Centers like Teen Challenge (which is hardly just for teens) offer an option for physical and spiritual treatment. (5)

May God guide, bless and protect you or anyone in such a difficult situation.

Girl, you have wasted the best years of your life and I'm sure you've completely wasted your body also. Check yourself into a rehab and see a doctor, for God's sake. What a waste.
