You would be alot safer to leave the turkey in the freezer. Even at 25 lbs, you would not have to put it in the fridge no more then 3 days max before you will be cooking it.
I usually give 2 days for turkeys to thaw. It will be still quite cold, but you want to rinse the turkey out with water anyways. And rinsing out the turkey is very important if you are planning on stuffing it.
If you are not stuffing the turkey, and have the time to let it roast longer, you can take the turkey straight out of the freezer and put it into the oven. At 325 F, it would probly take about 8 - 9 hours to cook it.

Yes, that should be more than enough time since the thawing time of an 18-20 lb. Turkey is 4½ - 5 days in the refrigerator...

More than enough time. I usually do a 12 pound turkey in about two days. A 25 pound one should take about five days.

Yes, you should be good to go on Thanksgiving. If the day before it seems still too frozen start immersing it in warm water.
