Wow, similar situation I'm in. Except I've only been back with my man a year, and we've been together 7 years in total with a 6 month break up. My boyfriend still puts up a front, but deep down I know that he loves me and wants to be with me, but is just afraid to get hurt again. I suggest you let time tell. And let me tell you that ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. If you're giving a I don't givea f*** attitude, then he probably thinks you don't. And doesn't want to let himself fall back in love in fear that he's going to get hurt again. Well I'm still working out the whole trust factor with my boyfriend but I'm sure time will tell, and when he's really ready he'll pop the "big question" But I did just recently buy him a ring (one that he lost that he used to wear all the time) and I had it engraved with "I promise" Just as a little reminder to him, every time he double guesses what I'm doing, he knows It's nothing bad, because of "My Promise"
