I never cooked until about three years ago. And nobody would eat what I cooked at first. I can't say I blamed them either. It was all wretched stuff. But I was desperate. I got a sort of kit from the supermarket. It said you only have to pierce the bag a few times and put it in an oven...and you will have a meal. It was beef roast with carrots and potatoes. I looked at this thing and decided I might be able to reproduce this myself instead of buying the kit all the time. I went looking around the supermarket. And I found REYNOLD'S COOKING BAGS. My gods...it was the best thing I ever found.
Get chicken, cut up pieces. And get these bags and cheap tea bags. Now trust me...it sounds insane, but it really works. Put the chicken in the bag. Get the pan you will bake the chicken in the oven in. Put the chicken in the bag in this pan. And boil some water. You read right, Boil some water. Now carefully put the water in that bag with two tea bags. Seal the whole thing up with the little brown fastener. They hide them in the instruction card in the box. Now put it all in the fridge for about 24 hours. If it is a little less, no problem. Now take it out of the fridge. Put the oven on for about 325 degrees. And put it in after making a few vents in the top of the bag with a small knife. (make sure only the top of the bag, you don't want to loose all the water. It might leak a little, but it is in the pan, so it will be fine)
Now set your timer for an hour. After an hour, check the chicken and put it back for another hour, turning the pan so the front is in the back and the back in the front--it will cook more evenly that way). If the chicken isn't ready yet, give it another 45 minutes. If it still does not have clear juices come out when you poke it through the bag, leave it another 15 minutes.
The chicken will be terrific.
Now this tea bag, reynold's baking bag thing works GREAT with any sort of meat. Beef roasts come out so tender and delicious. Even the cheapest chuck roasts are perfect.
And if you want ribs... don't buy the beef ribs. And forget about the pork ribs. Get COUNTRY STYLE PORK RIBS instead. And cook them this way. It takes almost 3 hours if you have a larger amount. But poke through the bag to check if they are done and tender. When they are, take them out, put them on a foil lined cookie sheet, and pour BBQ sauce all over them. And put them back in for another 20 minutes. They will be amazing!

lasagna:
buy some no boil lasagna noodles
ground beef
ricotta cheese (or substitute cottage cheese)
shredded mozzerella
spaghetti sauce (like 2-3 jars)
cook the ground beef (add some salt and pepper, lemon juice)
i like to add onions to the sauce also, but u can buy sauce w/ stuff already in it. add the beef to the sauce, no need to heat.
get a lasagna or casserole dish, cover w/ foil. spread generous amount of sauce on the bottom. put a layer of lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. spread ricotta cheese, then sprinkle mozzerella. slather in sauce. sprinkle mozzerella. repeat w/ the layers of noodles (i usually do 2-3 layers). cover w/ foil, bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes until noodles are soft. voila!
