I display them as soon as I begin receiving them and then take them down when I take down all my decorations..(usually the first Saturday after the 1st). I have a little photo album that I put all the pictures that I receive in, and I keep that out through the year.

I put out my Christmas stuff about 2 weeks before Christmas and take it down either the day after or 2 days after Christmas

I start displaying them as soon as they arrive, I take them down with the decorations around the 15th of January. But that's just me, some people leave their decorations up through March. Basically whatever makes you feel good, whatever you want to do.

I put mine up when I get them & take them down around a week after christmas because I get bored of them.

I think there's some superstition that says leaving them up for more than 2 weeks after christmas is bad luck but that's up to you!

No official rules, and you can store the nice ones with your tree decorations, but if i go over to someone's house in Feb. and they still have them there, i find it strange.

Nine months, max. Christmas lights can stay up year round though.

I usually keep mine up unitl New Years Day and then I take them down.
