this is verbal abuse and it can have as bad an effect as physical abuse. You need to get out of this relationship because it never gets better only worst and next thing you know he will be hitting on you and you will keep forgiving him and you will end up stuck because at that point its hard to get out talk to a close friend about it someone older than you like your mom aunt sister someone who can give you some honest advise.
i have a lot of family and friends who have been abused by their boyfriends and husbands and it got so bad that at times their lives have been at risk. And it always started out with verbal abuse then he would hit the table when he was mad or throw something then next thing you know he was hitting on them. And when he says he loves you he might really feel that way but don't let that stop you cause if he TRULY loved you he wouldn't do anything to hurt you.

Yelling at you is abuse its called verbal abuse and sometimes its worse than if he hit you. Ask yourself these questions: Does he call you names? Does he tell you where you can go and where you cant? Does he argue with you when your parents say no you cant go? Does he treat you with no respect? If the answer to any question is yes then he is an abuser and you should break up with him. But if you do then tell your parents ahead of time so they can help if the the verbal abuse becomes violent.

This is serious early signs of a guy who is too controlling which may lead him to actually be abusive. I really think you should re-think this relationship if he always acts out this way. Don't let your heart and feelings for him misguide you... this happens to many females and they end up with a guy too over powering. Its not healthy... but first maybe try mentioning this to him, that you don't like it...maybe he simply doesn't realize it that much.. but it sounds like more than that to me.

that doesnt sound good. You need to find out who comes first in your life because pretty soon your girls wont put up with that crap. I think you need to lose him before you lose more important people like your friends. He doesnt even treat you goodd if he is always yelling at you... he has no respect for you and yo deserve better

there is different kinds of abuse... if you don't consider this abuse, then consider this... i've seen some one do things exacly like this... he later was sued, and almost put in jail because he started hitting her...
look to the future... if he see's that you're fine with what he's doing, things get worse...

That is abusive. He's verbally abusing you which turns into mental abuse later on. So you need to dump him.

Let me guess.. he's either just like your dad, or your dad isn't around.
Stop going with this jerk. And if you do have a dad, tell him how this boy treats you.

He's overprotective. Maybe you should stay away from him for a while. He seems like the jealous type.
