No. I am sure you are still his best friend. He is just into his girlfriend. Give him a call and try to schedule a time at least once a week. Unfortunately, it does happen, when someone gets a boyfriend/girlfriend, they "forget" their friends for a little while. You can let him know that it isn't healthy to spend all his time with her, that it is important to spend some time with his other friends too. It isn't going to be the same though. Try to get him to spend some time, like once a week as a guys night out, or once every week. You haven't lost him. He is just distracted at the moment.
Don't give up on him. Best friends stay together and are there for each other when needed.

You haven't lost a great friend because if it's his first girlfriend, in basically all cases, there'll be others. It seems your friend has just matured faster then you and his other guy friends. He is interested in girls now and eventually the both of you will be going "girl-hunting" together & things like that. You have to understand that at some point in our lives we change. He has the right to want to be happy and to be in a relationship & if this girl is making him feel all tingly inside with butterflies then he deserves the happiness. You need not be jealous and just realize it's a part of growing up.

no, but you guys need to establish a guys night where the guys can hang out for a few hrs each week and do whatever it you guys like to do ( fart and make fun of each other). On that night he should let his girl go out with her friends, and they can meet back up after the bars close

tell him that he is over doing this girlfriend thing. relationships come and go but friends are the ones you fall back on when your world is coming to an end. try to have a "guys night out" or do a double date.

I know what that is like. I had a friend that got a b/f and it was like *poof* she was gone. Only time I heard from her was when I called or texted her. I just finally gave up and told her that if she wanted to pick a guy over a friend then fine. That shows you that they will pick someone else over their best friend.

It's his first love so he'll be like that. When they break up that will most likely not happen again.
