depends on which type of kickboxing you take. Muay Thai will focus on LOTS of conditioning and then teach you the forms. The other forms don't concentrate as much on the intense conditioning as Muay Thai.

If you're talking about real American kickboxing, not that aerobic/cardio stuff some physical trainers use in their videos, then you'll learn the essentials of a boxing (jab, cross, hook, uppercut, etc.) combined with kicking methods. If we're talking about Muay Thai.... Add elbows and knees into the mix.

Kick boxing is the process when you use your legs and arms to defend against your opponent. the boxing of it involve all the fighting skills of boxing and the kick is when you use your legs.
This is not Muay thai because you need not to use your knee and Elbow that were it different from Muay thai.

I am THAI we teach you to respect your parents frends master yourself eventhough your enemy. Mainly keep your focus on your partner chest. you can see whole body movement, looking in the eyes can make you confuse, Eyes always lies in expert player.
Then you have to know wepons, 2 fists, 2 elbows, shoulders, Head, Knees, Feets.
Trick & Tip : keep your eyes open againts the shower to make its keep open while in the fight.
