About $40.00, if you deduct for the law suits and what you lose on dog fight bets and being uninsurable with Allstate and State Farm....I love pitties but hate backyard breeders.

Mike. Don't do it. The world of hurt that could be unleashed by what you might do isn't worth the risks.
1 Over 60 percent of people abandon their pits.
2 If you even THINK they will be used for fighting, forget it. It is a torturous existence for the dogs and it almost always ends in their gruesome and lonely deaths.
3 IF someone bought a puppy from you, fought it without you're knowing, the dog got out and packed, killing or maiming a child, how could you live with yourself if you found out.
This is a real possibility.
4 They are the BEST dogs, a majority mistreated, same amount sold for terrible purposes and most likely to die a terrible death.
I am sorry to sound like doom and gloom, but talk to the humane society, look at pictures of people and animals torn apart, hopefully you will see there are better ways to make money.
If you are still going to breed, be VERY ready for what might take place in the future, for if you start the ball rolling, it can't be stopped.
Over 90% of animals in shelters are killed and then rendered back into food for other animals. Please do not be a part of that.
Rescue a pitt from the pound. Be a hero.
If you rescue a Pit, it will love you with a devotion you will never know outside of that special animal. It will protect you with it's own life, it'll live just to make sure you breathe.
They are amazing. So they are targets for terror. I believe you to be a good person, so will that dog, waiting at the pound, looking at the door, waiting to hear you walk in, carress his head and tell him he has a home, he isn't going to die that day, he will grow old and you will be the last face he sees before he goes to Heaven.
I know what I speak about. Be noble and change lives.
I know you can and he's waiting.
TIME'S RUNNING OUT

a breeder should not breed solely to make money cause you wont make much.
you should not breed a female more than once a year. and you will be a very sketchy kind of breeder if you do it for the money. any website will tell you thats the one to stay away from. plus you should have years of experience with the breed, and pedigrees and good references from vets. and not be trying it cause pit bulls are popular or trendy or for something horrible like dog fights.
i suggest not doing it, cause if youre in it for the money no one will buy from you except scumbags who dont care about the health and history of the dog.
and you will be considered a scumbag also.
breeding should be a hobby because you love the breed, not your sole income.
sorry if this sounds snotty, but i dispise "backyard breeders".

It depends on the breeder and blood lines--Good breeders shouldnt be making alot of money as they are breeding the BETTER a breed--Unforn this great breed has a bad rap because of some of the owners that own them and IMO no one should be breeding them right now as SO many die every day due to no homes and BSL...BUT IF you do it right and have all health testing done--puppies checked by a vet and utd on shots when it finds a new home etc etc and so on you SHOULDN'T be making money after you pay for the health testing, shots, food, other vet care, supplies and the list goes on....

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7Qt

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

nowhere near as much as you might think. Most true breeders make a little money per dog when you factor in all the money it takes to breed, birth, whelp, feed, vaccines, house, exercise and train the dogs.
