If someone claiming to be Jesus was in the desert, I'd know he was a fake:
Matthew 24:23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.
26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out ..."

Why would you shoot someone who gave his life for you? No he wouldn't be a illegal alien he owes this world. I wouldn't call anyone I would let him go on his way to do more amazing things.

dunno if i offered him food and water, would i be as satan? in the bible satan offered food and water to jesus who wandered the desert for 40 days, would that be sinful of me to do the same?
