BethAnn, Your signals are confusing. First you are telling a lady that she doesn't have a right to breed, because she isn't in the 'show ring', and then you are complaining about Government in the the show ring and whelping box..

Now,, are you asking for more freedoms for yourself, and less for others? Or, how does this work..
If you are worried about the cropping/docking issues, I think the banning of such is a step in the right direction.. I hope we are trying to become a more humane generation..
If it is a matter of government interference in being allowed to breed or not..I believe in less government, and more pet education..We give away our hard-won freedoms, as if they had no value at all..Little by little

Sweetie, what are you talking about?
What does the government control?
Certainly not what or how pets are bred. And certainly not who is breeding them.
There is no laws at all regarding cropping and docking. Well, yet, anyway. I attended dog shows in Dixon, California where they are trying to stop cropping and docking, but the uncut dogs don't win in the show ring. At least when I was participating. The first year the uncut dogs that didn't win, came back the next year cut and won, so it's more of an education issue not a government one.
What are you trying to ask?

They have their noses in the ring and whelping box because HSUS (and probably others) donate big bucks to the politicians, or in other words, buy them. It is the AR agenda to stop all breeding, showing, and pet ownership, although I would guess you probably already know this.

Bonsylar - Sounds like you need to wake up and smell the anti-breeding laws spreading all over our country.

We are new to the show circuit, and I would so much say the government as I noticed between breeders. Cat fights at a dog show....yikes

Sorry Chetco, I have to disagree.... I have dobermans and they are all cropped and docked! I am neither mean nor inhumane to them. Sorry, they've been like that since 1890!

Because they can get **VOTES**(the ONLY thing they want in LIFE!!) by caving in to theAR/humaniacs/peta-NUTZ "touchy-feely" "KNOW *NOTHING*","Big Brother" attempts to LEGISLATE away as many of our FREEDOM-TO-CHOSE as they can.

My state just LOST to those LUNATICS by putting MOURNING DOVES on the "songbird" list!!! sheeeeeeeeeeesh....

But my breeds' parent club TURNED down a no-docking vote!!! There ARE still people w/GUTS *&* BRAINS!!

Have you ever been kicked in the head by a mule or maybe hit in the back of the head with an empty whiskey bottle?
