You don't have to follow any rules. You don't have to pay your bills. You don't have to take a shower. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do.
There is always a consequence to not following rules or certain standards. Skip going to work, you don't get paid. Quit paying your mortgage, house gets repossessed. Stop taking showers, you stink. If you choose to not believe in Christ, you go to hell.
It is your choice to follow or to not follow any rules you chose.
It is sad that even my 13 month old has a better understanding of free will and consequence than you.

You spelled Blaise Pascal's name wrong.
Also, who gave you the "or else" part? There are very few places where people will actively force you into their religion, and many of those places are in the third world.

Looks like you've grown past the parent/child scenario depicted in the bible. Good on you!

They are not Christian rules they are God's rules set for our own good just like the laws of the land.

You don't have to follow "our rules", it's your choice. We are only pointing out that in order to be saved you must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Why don't you read and STUDY the Bible? I challenge you to do so.

Barring the fact that you may simply have a jaundiced eye, I would suggest that you have a profoundly inadequate understanding of the Christian faith.
