What would the diversity of beleifs be? Like how do you explain it. I know what it is but am finding it hard to put it in words.
Plz don't give me rubbish answers. Rather not answer than being rude.

I think people aren't answering this question because we don't get the context.

Diversity of beliefs as in "This country has great diversity of beliefs" or do you mean an internal situation such as "Billie there has great diversity of beliefs." It could mean a lot more things than these two as well. Can you be more specific?

The diversity of belief ? Boy, that is at least 25 books worth of answers !! Social and traditional input affects all religions, a long continuum of belief, ever changing , adopting and adapting whatever serves the purpose of the belief system. All religions evolve, none conform to the original `concept`, over time the truth becomes renewed, altered and adapted to serve the "word". Although there is great national diversity, religion if taken as simply a belief construct, is remarkably consistent in its basic components.Geography affects diversity, isolation, or occupation by other religious groupings, the more widespread the believers, the more changes we should expect. Examples.... Mexican and Roman Catholicism. Shi`a and Sunni Muslims, and the countless Protestant groups. Hope this goes some way to explaining what I think was your question!

Fundimentally I think there is more similarity rather than diversity. When God created man and over time and for what ever reason man spread throughout the planet becoming different in cultural beliefs, God realised he had to get through to man using different techniques so he created loads of belief structures. Afterall you wouldnt speak to a chinese person in english and expect him to understand.
And so we have numerous similar concepts with morals and ethics that would, if adheared to, create harmony amongst man.
If only people realised this there would be no wars!

There is considerable diversity of religious and non-religious beliefs in this world, and I think it's a plus for humanity. Something one person sees, realizes, or conceives might not ever have occurred to his neighbor, and vice versa. It would be a tragedy if we all thought and acted exactly alike. Diversity promotes growth.

in my opinion the only difference between any Religion and another are the NAMES they refer to GOD as along with the Rituals and Ceremonies they use to Honor, Worship, Adore, Pray and Petition, Thank, Etc. Etc. GOD.

People will believe in all sorts of silly, unsubstantiated ideas. Credophillia seems endemic in our culture. Personally, I would rather know than believe, given the opportunity.
