When a girl says she wants to get to know you better before pursuing a relationship is there a double meaning to that or am i just being paranoid?

For women, men fall into 4 categories.
1) To be avoided
2) To be Friends with - no sex or relationship material, just people who would help them out when they need them
3) To be in a relationship with - Hold off on sex and make them worship you. Then finally settle down with them
4) To have fun with
I think she has landed in category 3). So she expects you to call her often, take her out to dinner, send flowers etc. She has seen that you are stable, faithful, financially able to support her, good father material, etc. She will most likely hold off on sex as much as she can.
Now what you have to do is to try land in category 4) as soon as possible. Now these are the bad boys. They don't buy gifts, they get them. They don't worship women, but often ignore them. I'm not saying you have to abuse or disrespect girls to create attraction. But if you kiss their asses all the time and appear desperate, they are most likely going to put you in 2) or 3)

Ur just bein paranoid. She really just wants to get to know u better to decide if she really wants to be with you or not. The only way that would be a double meaning is if she meets a guy today and they start goin out TODAY. Then the double meaning is she doesnt wanna be with u.

She means exactly what she said.
She could have many reasons for saying it, but what was said is pretty self explanitory.
Ask her why she says that and you wont have to be paranoid anymore.

depends she could be serious or she could be testing you to see if you are going to push her into doing something else. and she could also be in another relationship that may be rocky and she wants to keep you on the rebound so she can bounce back pretty soon...be careful and keep your eyes open!!!
